Café West
Café West provides homemade foods at reasonable prices for employees, visitors, and the community. We provided room service meals seven days a week for patients.

Monday-Friday, 8 am - 1:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am - 1 pm
Diabetes and Nutrition Education
Our dietitians provide education on a large variety of topics. We have certified diabetes educators and a certified pediatric specialist on staff. Diabetes education in Spanish is available.
One-on-one appointments are available with a dietitian for assessment and teaching based on your medical history, needs and lifestyle.
Education for adults and children is provided for
- Type 1, Type 2, Pre-Diabetes/Impaired Glucose Tolerance, and
- Gestational Diabetes
- Obesity
- Kidney Disease
- Heart Health
- High Cholesterol
- High Blood Pressure
- Unintended Weight Loss
- Eating Disorders
- Pediatrics
Medicare covers nutrition therapy for diabetes and kidney disease. Many other insurance companies also cover one or more visits for nutrition therapy for various conditions.
Please check with your insurance plan to determine your coverage. In most cases a doctor's referral is needed. Many policies require pre-approval to be arranged by your physician's office.

Diabetes Support Group
This free community group meets the 4th Monday of every month in the West Valley Hospital Conference Room from 7-8 pm.
